The truest expression of a people is in its dance and its music. Bodies never lie.” -- Agnes de Mille, American dancer and choreographer At TCDC, we are committed to bringing the best dance instruction to the youth in our area. Aside from dance, we are devoted to helping foster good humans. The skills our dancers will learn within our studio walls will help shape them into creative, resilient, confident members of society. It takes a village to raise good kids, and we are excited to be a part of your village!

From the beginning
Tara opened the doors of TCDC on March 5, 2013 in the old 7-11 (for those locals who know...) on the corner of South Boulder Rd and Hwy 42 in Louisville, CO. Tara taught every class for the first 6 months, and added Katie and Michael (who are still with her today) to her staff shortly after that. We started from scratch with ZERO students and organically grew our studio with local kids from Louisville and Lafayette.
Where we are now
The studio quickly outgrew that beautiful little space and now resides in an 8,200 SF building on S. Public Rd in Tara's native Lafayette, CO. We are thrilled to announce that as of Sept 7th, 2021 we added a second location to our ever growing business located at 1304 Centaur Village Dr also in Lafayette. We serve an average of 500 dancers each session, coming to us from Louisville and Lafayette, Arvada, Boulder, Thornton, Erie, and Broomfield. We welcome dance teams from across the state - as far south as Parker and as far north as Ft Collins - and we're the official training studio for the CU Dance Team. We have a staff of 25 talented teachers who are committed to sharing their love of dance with our community, and there's no stopping us!

"The pride I have for the growth of the studio and my students is unmatched. Teaching and mentoring young dancers is a job unlike any other and it is a huge honor I do not take for granted. It is a big responsibility and one I am committed to for the rest of my dance life." - Tara
